Job Description: Industrial Painter
Location: Cleveland, OH, 44114
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial painting and be able to work independently to complete projects on time and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint and other coatings using a variety of techniques, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with blueprints, customer specifications, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Inspect paint jobs and materials; adjusting colors and fixing detects.
- Perform quality testing and complete documentation as required.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an industrial painter.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
